If you were prefishing a tourny on Loudoun/Tellico....on which lake would you focus most of your time??? Why???

Depends on where you launch from and time of year. Also depends on if you know both lakes or if your hitting it blind. Most people prefer the Loundon side. 90% of your big tournaments are held at the cannal. And from my experience theres just more productive spots with less running on the Loundon side. I know when the FLW came last year they practiced both lakes. Most of them were on Loundon. I know the top 10 were fishing Loundon. Fish were being cought on the Tellico side but most of those fish were bedding and real hard to catch. They were also bedding on Loundon but merky water vs super clear water. Most went with the merky water. I know theres times of the year you can launch from the cannal and not burn half a tank of gas to catch fish, late spring/summer. Most the time if you launch from the cannal you have to run way up the Tellico side to get on fish and then hope they stay there. This is just my 2 cents. I'm sure you'll hear a bunch of different sides to this question. I guess it depends on who you ask and where they fish the most. Both lakes are great though.

I personally prefer Loudon, just because I have had better success there and more confidence on that lake. Like Rebel said it is not as clear as Tellico which makes it a little easier to catch fish. Good luck!!
