Well i just wanted to see what line you guys used for throwing crankbaits. What lb test and brand. And whether it is mono or floro?

I use 12 lb Berkley Vanish Transition Flourocarbon. It's the kind that's clear and turns red in the sunlight. I love it. No complaints at all. Casts great and is tough as nails

8 pound p-line just about always, sometimes 6# in the winter

15LB mono for square bill and flat sides in laydowns and heavy cover. Floro 8lb for small winter time baits and 8 to 12 lb floro and copolamer line for about every thing else.

On my spinning outfit I use 8lb. clear or green P-line cxx, and on my baitcasters I use 10lb. clear P-line CX.

I have been using 10 pount Izorline Platinum. Awesome line but I'm going to experiment with flourocarbon this year.

G3 i use the big game but im thinking about going to a florocarbon for cranking this year just not for sure yet.

8lb pline xxx for casting reels and cranks. 10 lb pline xxx for casting reels and spinnerbaits. 12 lb pline xxx for casting reels and flippin tubes and small jigs.



I have 8lb fluorescent Suffix on my spinning reels.

My baitcaster usually has 14lb. stren mono, and my river spinning reels have 8lb. stren mono.
