When running cables whether it be a trandu6thcer, temp, electrical, etc. through your boat gunwale, always
tie a stout piece of nylon string to the end of it. Once the cable is run, disconnect the string and tie it off
on both ends of the boat. This way, the next time you have to run a cable, you have a string to help pull
the cables through.
