Made from different gages of 316 stainless and cut different

patterns. The different thicknesses (gage) give each a different

weight and fall rate. I've added ball bearing swivels since

the pic to keep the line twist out...I've also made some smaller

spoons as well.....

There not to bad to make. I use a shear to stamp them out

and then I gotta smooth the sides where I cut'em to get the

sharp edges off SB.....The stainless is pretty soft and can be

a pain at times. I'll use a die grinder to finish the edges with,

and those little pieces of stainless are annoying when you get'em

on your skin.

WOW!!!!!!!!! those look great rat. i have heard that making those "May cause warm Fingers" if ya aren't careful.

great job.

LOL Snoot,, they can get quite warm even through leather gloves. When polishing them, I use some Wells Lamont

cuffed gloves. That's about as thick as I can stand. Welding gloves are to big to do the job with. Kinda like

tryin' to wipe the ol crack with boxing gloves on.
I'll do about five at a time, that way I can keep rotating

them soz they don't get to hot. Stainless transfers heat like the devil.......

Thanks Guys,,

Looks good Rat. have you ever used the Sure Set hooks on them. I saw Jason Quinn on TV ( the guy that fishes the Elite Series, with the ear rings and stuff from SC) fishing spoons and he showed some of his tips. The Sure Set he was using would alwasy catch the fish on the long hook and he swore by them. Said he changed all his spoon hooks to sure sets.

Yep, Jason is known as "Hardware" for all the metal...Haven't tried the hooks you're talkin'

about..Haven't lost but two fish, one took the spoon with it.....

great looking spoons..... can you hammer them to give them a concaved and hammered look????

Lol Skeeter,, I'd prolly have mashed thumbs and hot hands if I tried that..
I've found the fish like

the shiney flash better. Haven't tried to give'em a hammered look.......
