What are some of the different ways you rig your swim baits? I've always used the ones that are already weighted and the plastic poured over them. Any favorite method??

I have not fished them before either. But I would try the owner Twist Lock Hooks that are weighted. Basically Texas rig the hook in the bait. It's weighted on the bottom to keep it swimming correctly.

Those twist-lock hooks, with the coil on the end to hold your bait in place, work really good. The only problem with those hooks is they tear up your swimbait very easily. I prefer a heavy duty offset, wide gap hook. Gamakatsu has just come out with some great swimbait hooks, they are called EWG Monster hooks. They make em in 5/0, 6/0, and 7/0. Great for swimbaits and tubes. Just rig em texas style and the offset bend next to the eye of the hook should do a good job of holding your lure. Rigging it this way should also make it weedless so you can fish it around cover. These hooks are not weighted so you'd have to clamp some weight onto the shaft. I've not tried the EWG Monster hooks but they look perfect for swimbaits. You can also rig the swimbaits on a jighead for open water fishing.

Yep they are sweeeeet. I picked up some too. I've already caught fish on em. Those twist lock hooks tear the nose of the strike kings up pretty good after you catch one on em though. I'm gonna pick up some of those gami's this weekend and try em.
