Well headed up to Watauga this morning to give it a try. Boy was it tough. The Conditions seemed perfect. Cloudy and a slight breeze. The sun came out later on in the day around lunch time. Like to Froze to death, but I did manage to get 2 smallmouth in the boat. the water was clear to slightly stained from the rain I guess The Temps were 43 when I got there and 44.6 later on in the day. I saw one other boat up there the whole day. I threw Silver Buddies, FNF and Jigs.

Those are some really nice smallmouth! I was at work this morning thinking the same thing, beautiful day to be fishing. It may have been slow, but I would have changed with you for sure.
