Me and my dad put his boat in at TWRA ramp out from Kinser Park . We replaced the water pump on his motor and wanted to try it out . This was the biggest reason for going this afetrnoon . We hooked one but that was all . We talked to another guy and he said that they had caught a few trout and that was it . Had a good day any time you can laugh with dad is a good day .

We seem to get along better now than we ever have . We never got a fish in the boat but , it was one of the best trips I have had . I hope to have many more .

I was there with wife and fatherinlaw. Nary a nibble. Kinser backwater temp was 44 and river was 38.

The water was a little muddy for me but we were in the water behind the dam so I would imagine the river was worse .

I plan on drowning a million worms with my Dad this year, he's not much for bass fishing but we can flat slay the gills, I may try to get on some crappie with him this spring, I think he would love it....
