Got another day off from school due to illness and made the most of it by going to the lake. No wind and blue skies for most of the morning. Water has cooled back down to 45-46 degrees. Caught 11 total with 10 coming on the FnF and 1 on a hair jig. 7 smallmouth, 3 ky's and a 12 lb. drum. Fished the lower Powell side. All the SM came of a 14-16ft. leader with a duck fly.

Nice, Sounds like another good day! Congrats! Can't wait to hit it tomorrow.
If we have that luck, I'll be as happy as a little kid in a candy store.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day. Thanks for the report and details that you provided. Hopefully they bite for me tomorrow on the big Indian!

Thank goodness it is not my illness. Our school system's absences were extremely high due to the flu so we got a day off to hopefully get healthy.

I did throw a jig some, caught one on it. They were hitting the fly just enough to keep me interested.

Jtewes we had 1 keeper and 3-4 other nice 16-17 inchers.
