I'm sure most of you all have seen that skeeter and yamaha are the new boat and engine sponsor of bass. What does everbody think about it. I am a skeeter man myself. I guess it is because I own one, I think all the boats are real good boats these days. I'm sure the sponsorship changed because of money or something in that area. But those new skeeters sure are pretty.

your correct about all boat companies building very good boats these days and there is not doubt it comes down to the almighty dollar as it always does. I think Triton is in a slump right now and not selling as many boats as they use to. That means the bucks are not there to just gibe BASS the kind of funds they demand. Plus the fact that Triton was purchased by Mercury Motor Works last year adn Mercury has a ton of money tied up in the performance end of boats and boat racing and don't feel that fishing will sell that many motors. I don't think Triton Mercury Could match the bid by Skeeter Yamaha anyway even if they wanted to. I am also a Skeeter Owner and I love my Bug Boat.

dittos on the Skeeter boats....now if FLW would get in the game with Skeeter...maybe I might be able to win some of that bonus $$$$ they offer "owners"....

Skeeters are nice boats and this should up there sells.
I think that is the reason for the new sponsor , increase sells . No dought Skeeters are good boats and the Yamaha's are just as good too . Looks like Triton and Mercury may have a little slump in sales and us being the fishermen should benifit from all of this .

triton still want lower there prices. 75% of the fishing shows still use tritons. I am a ranger man myself but i love the skeeters to. they are much faster than a ranger
