Can anyone tell me any places to fish from the shore or bank and catch any good fish around the Myrtle Beach area? Maybe some reddish or flounder ect. My wife n I will be there for our first anniversary the last of may. And would like to get some fishing in also if anyone knows a good guide who isn't to expensive that might be an option for us. Thanks.

I just saw this hope you see it. I fish North Myrtle BEach every year and there are several options. The surf is just ok but pretty flat and devoid of any structure. I love to fish the Cherry Grove fishing pier at the end of S Ocean BLVD past North Myrtle into Cherry Grove. There is also a pier called Springmaid that is pretty good as are the jettys at Murrels inlet. Good luck, I will be there the day you are leaving for a week.

lots of mahi mahi and kings running if you go offshore, i was supposed to be there this week, but work was to busy, my cousins brought me the info.
