I forgot about that , in Virginia you can use a rifle for turkey hunting . Shoot them in the head we don't want to loose any meat . Good luck to all .

Came down 81 out of Virginia Sunday and saw a lot of turkeys. Every little field seemed to have a longbeard strutting for the ladies. Makes me long for the gobbling!

I was about a mile from the house Thursday afternoon and saw 3 long beards about 10 yards off the road. They are there every spring, usually strutting. I'm surprised they have not been shot from the road. Only a month to go
