i went over to guntersville yesterday and it wasnt a good day for me . I got there around 8:30 am and on my 3rd cast and wham after a good fight I had a 5 lb largemouth in the boat . I thought that it was going to be a great day but nope not the case . I had 2 more bites and that was it before the rain came down . I did get to fish for about 3 hours . Oh well better luck next time

A fish like that is great but when you are trying to find something for a tourney that is what I was meaning buy a bad day . I struggle over there during this time of year . I have a tourney over there on the 23rd of this month and trying to find some new stuff . Does anyone on here fish it much ?

The bank straight across from Goose Pond is a good place to get a nice limit. You should be able to catch them on a jerkbait (clown) or a trap come your tourny time. Hope this helps.

Not sure just yet we always vote on the ramp the week before the tourney . But more than likely it will be Waterfront

Try a Cordell Super Spot in Royal Shad in the grass. Should have them at Waterfront. I'd also do some flipping.

Well I don't know what the weather is gonna be like then but if you don't mind a short run I would fish the banks across from Goose Pond or make a little longer run and go up to teh Comer Bridge and fish the pockets around the Bridge with a hard Jerkbait and would not be afraid to even throw a Super Spook Jr. and I would also flip the Bridge Pilings. I have caught a lot of fish around that bridge area in early Spring but have not fished it in February before but have in early March. Just an idea.
