I had my club tourney at the big G this past weekend . Well I ran up to my first spot and bammm one hits and it was a 2lb keeper . I thought that it was going to be great that day . But no more in that area so we moved around alot and just couldnt find any fish we went all the way up Goosepond area and as far down as the stae park area and with nothing in those areas also . So the tourney was about over so I went baack to the ramp area and caught a good fish there a 4 1/2 lm . So with just a few minutes left we put the boat on the trailer . I wound tied for 4th with 6 1/2 lbs . The guy that won it had almost 18lbs in just 3 fish he had big fish also

at 8 lbs 10 oz . Even though didnt do so well had a great time fishing

Sounds like you had a better day than most.Did you run into Jon The Fisherman down there?? He said it was very tough down there and like to froze to death.. BRRRRRRR
