Going to try and get down to Cherokee this weekend, coming down from Ohio . Coming with a friend and his son.

Can anyone tell me if there is plenty of water on the 25e ramp there across from Hablin marina. Hope I am explaining this spot correctly?

Love it down there on Cherokee. Can't wait to get on the water.

Thanks alot for the info, will be careful for sure. Going to try some FnF never done it but would like to learn. Always will have an eye open for the sea gulls to try to get a striper or hybrid also.

You should not have any trouble at all lauching at the 25E bridge. Watch for the humps especially if you head towards the dam. Also, keep an eye out for the water temps. If it is above 50-52, then I would stick to other baits like a jerk bait, crankbait or silver buddy as opposed to the FNF. The FNF has been pretty good for me on this lake this winter, but the water temp may dictate using other methods more productive.

Good luck and I look forward to reading your posts when you get back.

Tracker, Thanks for the info. I will do that for sure, I always have the crankbait handy down there. Sometimes I won't lay it down, but from what I read about FnF we need water more in the 40's??

I will be looking forward to reporting my findings.
