Go to the lake today after two days of rain and wind. Muddy water in the creeks 49 degrees, clear water 40 ot 42 degrees. warm rain water I recon. Fished the muddy water with bright colored cranks and dark worms, nada, Clear water with GP worms and natural colored CB nothing there either. Did not catch a thing but I did get to tune the homemade cranks I got from Paul. They look good in the water too....can't wait till the fish come up......

I know the water is cold over there, but here its a steam plant lake and the bass hit that crank really good.I hope you catch a whopper on it when the water warms enough for it.

Thanks for the report Z. The rain and fronts have them on the run again. The water is still pretty clear up the lake a bit. I though it would have put a little color to the water.

Went out of International Harbor in Friendsville for a couple of hours late this afternoon. Same with me, no luck. One little strike on a 4 inch Slider. Oh well, it was nice just to get out. Terribly muddy and quite a bit of debris floating around. It won't be long, though!

..... I threw a spinner bait and when the blade turned it kicked up dust.....just kidding but you are right it was muddy.

Rebel it is making its way to the main lake and the way they are pulling it wouldn't suprise me if it ain't colored down at the dam by the end of the day.

I've fished the day before the storms this week and yesterday and only have 1 fish to show for it. Tuesday I fished out of the Little River into the main channel with no luck. Yesterday I fished out of Poland Creek and went down towards Carl Cowan Park and only caught one stinkin fish. Oh, and I side-hooked that one with a Series 6 Strike King Sexy Shad. Getting ready to go out again in a minute and I think I'll bring the dynamite along today!



Oh, just to let you guys know. I got checked by TWRA Tuesday on the water and I was carrying my pistol on my hip. They said it was perfectly legal to have one on the water in the boat. "If you are legal to carry it on land then you are legal to carry it out here," is what they told me. They took pictures of me though because it was concealed and my mug is apparently going to be in a TWRA Tactical Training program for the officers. Anyway, I just thought some of you might find that info useful.
