With fear and trepidation I launched my jet at JB Dennis and fished the Holston there for the first time. Ran pretty much up to Ft Henry Drive bridge and fished back. I'd been told "jerkbaits" but I caught none on Yo-Zuri pins, rapala long-cast, Wal-Mart cheapie. Had one follow a Yo-Zuri crystal minnow. Did get a few on a Panther-Martin spinner. Looking for any specific lure recommendations anyone would like to offer. BTW I think I'll use my toon from now on. Successfully launched and loaded the boat but it was a pain.

Where they generating? If they were I remeber a post a few weeks ago and the guy got a nice brown on spoon. I would also try small rattle traps too. If they were not generating I would go with RhotenJ on the power bait and live minnows or worms....

I fish that area pretty often. I've caught a lot on a Salmo Bullhead crankbait. Went yesterday for about an hour just before

dusk and caught one rainbow about 2 lbs. and one brown about 1 1/2 lbs. both on the Bullhead. I saw a guy fly fishing and he

caught a couple on what looked like either a blue wing olive or small tan midge in probably a size 18.
