How can you tell it is a male? Let me rephrase that before the jokes begin, How can you tell in this picture that the Brown is a male?

You can tell its a male by its kipe {sp} or hook jaw. Female will not have one. Also the adapose fin on a male is larger, insert joke here.

Freshawater bows "some" will have it, steelhead or saltwater run bows will not have one usually. Usually the freshwater ones will not be that big compared to browns.
