For the last four years I have been a registered member of TNDEER.com, I have learned a ton and shared a ton with all the members and it is sometimes great fun. Always good for a laugh or two. I came across this site while searching for a fishing report for Douglas lake. I looked it over a bit and decided that this may be the place for when it is not deer season! I love to deer hunt and I LOVE to fish! I have been fishing since I was about 3 when dad took me out for my first Bluegill leason in Virgina, where he was stationed at Langley AFB. Moving arround as a military child we landed in Sumter, SC where dad retired and I joined the Air Force. Durring my tour I was priveleged to fish Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington State, Idaho, Montana, and Louisiana. I wanted to fish the Pursian Gulf when I was in Bahrain durring one of the Gulf War situations but we had other business to take care of. While stationed in Fairchild AFB, WA I met my to be wife and as soon as I was back from the dessert we were married and I was letting my enlistment run out. I grew up in a military family and did not want to subject my children to that life. So, in 1998 when my enlistment was over and Honorable discharge received, my now pregnant wife and I moved to where my family had settled (Greeneville, TN) after dad's retirement. Been fishing and hunting arround here for 9+ years now and bought my first boat last year (Bass Tracker 175) from the Bass Pro Shop, where my dad is now working.

I love to flyfish and I only live 8 miles from Paint Creek so I get a good work out durring DH. I have been fishing Douglas alot since I bought the boat but I also put it in Davey Crocket over at Kinser Park when I do not have time to drive to Douglas. I enjoy fishing and prefer to catch panfish, Crappie, Bluegills, all variety of Shellcrackers, and recently I am trying to learn all I can about Walleye and Sauger. I do Bass fish but am trying not to get into the tournament scene because I am afraid of getting addicted to it. I love to eat fish as much as I love catching them so, if you see me on the bank with a fire going, you know I got something in the livewell

I now have 2 children a daughter (9) and a son (5)...they both enjoy fishing but my girl has to be catching or she is ready to do something else. My boy on the other hand takes after me. He enjoys fishing enough that I witnessed him fish for two days in a creek hole while we were camping last year without so much as a strike. But he still kept on fishing. I felt so bad that on the third day I took him to a place I knew had fish and he wor'em out and provided shore lunch for us both!
Good times!
