went to 2 ramps on the Collins last week,water very low and clear,current moderate
upstream from the RT 70 ramp is a sea of grass,very hard to retrieve a lure with out it being covered with the crap immediately,a little 1/2 lb. smallie weighed 3 lb. by the time I got him to the boat.LOL. Only a couple of very small fish. At the cove ramp the water is a long way from the ramp,not as much grass but no fish worth mentioning.
The Calfkiller from Hodges Ferry was also low but more productive 3 LG.mouth in the 1 -2 lb. class,not great but a little action..
