i'm thinkin of drivin out to Boone Dam to do some fishin this afternoon. Is the trout fishin any good out in the tailwaters? Im set up to fish for trout but if someone knows a good area to fish anything else from the bank lemme know.

After you turn on to Boone Dam Road off of HWY 75 there will be a paved pull off on the right side of the road. Park there and look over the hill and you will find a trail that leads down to the river. I bet I have caught a billion trout down there.....be careful with it being wet the trail down to the bank is steep....

i think there is going to be some constuction at the bridge crossing over PH right there at the dam on boone. I dont know if they will close that road right there and make you go down to the airport and come up or not. I read it in the paper yesterday.

Yeah i heard something about that. When are they gonna start the construction? Are they putting in a new bridge?

not really for sure the way they talked they was going to move that steel to another bridge up around muddy creek.

Thanks man, I found the spot and worked it over for a little over an hour but no luck. It was cool sittin on the shore watchin the snow fall on the river but the leaves started to accumulate snow and I thought I oughta climb outa there while I still could.
