A buddy of mine just stopped by here to look at the sample of the swim baits I plan on beginning to pour this coming week. After looking at them he said he wanted 200 and told me what colors he wanted them in. He is getting ready to go on tour and wants to take some with him. He said he looked at getting some of the Basstrix but said he was not going to play that game. He said many stores are running games on people and are changing prices with each order similar to supply and demand theory like the stock market and have even went as far as to change prices on them in the middle of the day. Talk about taking advantage of folks their is a prime example of it. Just thought I would share with ya'll what I heard.

They (Basstrix) have also made it that in order to purchase say $50 of baits, you had to also purchase $50 of other mdse. as well. Talk about a rip off.

Berkley's YUM Division is going to introduce a new swim bait at the Bass Master Classic that is suppose to be very simiar to the Basstix for a much lessor cost which I learned about a month or so ago and that was another reason I held off making my decision to begin making them but took the leap of faith anyway. Once the other companes begin flooding the market with same or similar baits Basstrix will have already made millions of dollars and you will find out that they could care less about the anglers then........

Same with Beavers, Chatter Baits, Banjo Minnows and many other companies that rush a bait onto the market with the Big PROS Promo and sell a ton of them at an inflated price and make a bunch of fast money and then could care less if they keep making them for the future.

The reason they did that Tracker in they could not sell the other junk they were making so before they go out of business and get stuck with it they will shove it down the Bass anglers throat..........

By making that retailer an exclusive source for that particular bait, they could name their own price plus they are making you order other items you could get cheaper elsewhere in order to purchase the swimbait. I'll never use that brand of lure even if someone gave them to me for free just because of the dirty tactics involved to generate sales. On the other hand though, it actually has hurt basstrix because the demand was so high that other companies released versions of that bait quicker than normal, and Berkley has a video of their new hollow body swimbait on the web site comparing the 2 side by side.

ya'll need to understand that when your asking about colors you need to remember I custom pour baits. I don't make baits until someone orders baits. If you have a color in mind you think you would like to have just send me a PM or email with the colors you would like and I will tell you if I can make it or not. I have all of the standard colors like White , white Pearl, Shad Grey, Blue Back Herring, Bleeding Pearl, Watermelon Candy(bluegill) Chartruese, Chartruese Pearl, Silver Minnow etc etc.
