The heads are not painted as I choose to dip them in dye the night before (with garlic flavor) and let them dry over night before I go. Red,black,brown,chartreuse dies are all I use for the heads and yes, after several hours of use the dye wears off and I can re-dip or leave them natural color. This round I added the clip on trailer twisters to the eye and have made many weedless, going to experiment with several colors tomorrow as we go after the elusive brown lake monsters. Will let you know how I do when I get back.

I learned to fish on that lake Softy. Beautiful scenery and some biggun's in there as well. I haven't been over there since 91. The Mrs. and I spent our honeymoon there. By the way,,,,,I took the boat with me too.
