Well fellas missed you one melton hill today...had some good smallies bite.....Would of been keepers if they hadn't changed the dang size limit on them....At 3 the boy i was fishing with had to go to work so i just moved my stuff to another boat and went on fishing......Around 4 we decided to hit a couple holes before dark and pulled up on a point... My buddy caught a nice 17 1/2 in smallie but still not the keeper we were lookin for a little more fishing on the same point produced this bad boy

Which i am happy to say weight 4lb 5 oz and was about 21 inches Last fish of the day and definetly the best..

Not to be a buzzkill but you did know that smallies and l.m. only have to be 14" to keep on the Hill right? I learned that the hard way after tossing more than a limit worth of brown fish over the rail thinking that they had to be 18" there. I think that changes come March 1st.
