we are having the open TX the 24th hope to see some of you all there. but if not I don't blame you.I post the results when I get home it is over at 4:00 and starts at 8:00 but If I was guess they will not be many keepers caught..

well we had a good turn out today we had 22 boats and it was cold today but the rain held off until it was over.

I started the day off with the FNF and drop shot I finally cought some on the fly.. I had 1 spot that was about 1/4" short and a SM that was less than a 1/4" short. both on the FNF in about 14' had one more pull down and missed it. so about 11:00 I started cranking and caught 5 on shad raps but no size all LM about 12" to 13" so about 3:00 I changed again and started thoughing shakyhead and caught one more LM about 13 1/2". out of 22 boats they where 2 keepers wieghed in and Jeff Smith had both of them 1 was a spot and the other was a SM both just keep. everone said they caught any where from 5 to 20 fish and a couple guys said they had a couple good fish get of. They where to other guys throwing the FNF and they caught about 20 fish each. guess I should have stuck with it longer.water temp was 39 to 42 deg. with about 1 foot vis.



Dwayne I wish I talk to you earlier yesterday we would have fish together.

About what we guessed it would be like wasn't it? It's good to get out and fish for a day and to catch some is a bonus. I would have liked to seen you won it, but Smitty is tough when there is a jig bite. 22 boats, wow! I believe that set some kind of record for one of our Trashtrap tourneys. How many of those 22 were club boats, any idea? Good job on the FNF.

we hava a tuesday night tournament on fishtrap from mid april to october everone is welcome

held by elkhorn city bass club 6 ;30 to 10;30

What is the cost for the Tuesday night tournaments? How many boats usually fish it? Thanks

it is $15 per person and most of the time we have 20 to 30 boats. the first couple TX we have about 10 to 15 boats and after they get started good we have up to 20 or 30 and have had up to 40.



they start in April and run though Oct, or Nov. or until they don't have enough boats to have it.we will also have 2 open TX on sat. night this summer on Fishtrap I can't remember the dates but it is in the calender on the top of the page. and wil are having an open TX on Dewey lake that will be on a Sat.



the Tues. night TX are 6:30 to 10:30



the Sat. night TX most of the time are from 6:30 to 2:00 I will post the times when we set them to be sure.
