The lake is in transition stage from summer to winter pool (17ft. drop) and the spotted bass are around main lake points. Water temp is still in the mid to low 60's and there is a slight stain

to what is normally a very clear lake. Finesse fishing on this lake with spinning tackle and 8# fluoro with a 3/16oz. shakeyhead and Zoom finesse worm will bring good numbers.

The fish are also turning on to the jig/double-tail trailer right now.

If you can keep up with the schools of hybrids/white bass, you can have some fun tossing a white War-eagle spoon or something similar. These schools are in the 30 foot depths hovering over 100+ feet

of water. As the water cools, the jerk-bait bite will be picking up.

There are many ramps available right now. Blockhouse off old 41 hwy. Gaults Ferry just off Kellogg Creek rd. and Red Top mountain just off I-75.
