I have been doing some reading on fly fishing for carp. I believe that I am going to give it a try this summer in the rivers close to where I live! Looks FUN!

i haven't targeted carp specifically yet. i don't want to gamble that my 5 wt would hold up to some of the bigger specimens. though when it is brought up at the fly shop i am all ears. they are hosting a carp cup next month so there is some knowledge to be obtained there.
