Has any of ya'll had any problems leavin a truck n trailer parked at Earls overnight? Been wanting to do some flathead fishin up there this spring.

It's touch and go with that at Earls.. Best to remove or chain and lock everything you can and hope for the best. On another note I have not heard anything to date this year.

Very true, I would add go on a night when you know others will fishing the area as well. Typically on weekends their is always a few tied up straight across from the ramp at night. They will keep most thieves away.

Thanks for the info fellas. Guess it would prolly be better to put in down at the ferry and run upriver. By chance have any of ya'll ever caught any good size flatheads up that way?

I was going to drive down there today, but I never got around to it. I drove past the powell at river bridge, and it was pretty high and muddy today.. so, I'm guessing around Earl's it's looking pretty rough.

I went on Saturday night we had 16 keepers (Crappie) caught about 40 by 2:00, we didn't have anything bothered, but there were several fisherman around!
