Hello, Looking for advice/ suggestions on a fishing kayak. I probably would have one already but my height and weight are a consideration. 6'5'' 300 # . Any help with type style etc. would be appreciated. Or should I stick to what I know. Thanks

River or lake use?

If you are interested in buying local, Jackson Kayak are made in Sparta, TN and employee lots of Tennesseans.

They have a couple of models that will work, including the soon to be released Cuda 12. Also consider the Cuda (14) and Big Tuna.

My brother and best friend are both 6'5" and they have no problems in the Jackson Coosa (but they are both slim). The higher seat is really nice for long legs and the boats above have the same seating system.

Regardless of which brand you buy, you should always go for a test ride in the type of conditions that you plan on using the kayak.
