Default Stripers & Cats at night on the Clinch - 6/14

Went out to the Clinch last night with my brother-in-law David and our good friend Dallas. Caught some smaller gizzard shad about 4 inches long near the Gallaher boat ramp we launched at.Motored down river until we spotted some bait and anchored down in about 29 feet of water. Water temp was 65.4. It was about dark when we got our first lines in the water. We used both live gizzards and cut bait. Ended up with 16 fish total. The fish quit biting about 1:30 am, right after they quit running water from Melton Hill Dam. Had a great time and it sure is good to see those big old stripers starting to bite again down there. All fish were released to fight another day.

ps: my camera date is a day behind apparently. will have to fiddle with it when i get back on the water next
