i was watching wfn the other night. they were at some trout and salmon fishery

and they were using a variety of maribu jigs with light takle



He had a million of these jigs most of them were 2,3 inches,different shades of blue, pink, purple, black, white

They were doing quite well with these jigs.



Does anyone use this type of tackle at the caney fork?

if so what colors for which season?

remember its good to spread successful baits and colors with other members, thats what this site is for.

i have never used hair jigs on caney, i think it will work as long as they see it. but the places where they hangout a bucktail or any other weighted jigs will eventually get snagged on logs

imo the only disadvantages a hair jig or a streamer has is that they dont rattle or move water sending shockwaves to the lateral lines,especially when the water is tainted.

A buddy of mine tried a FNF on the Clinch 1 time,had a few bites but never hooked up.

You know, Ive always used blue fox spinners- available at walmart 6 colors- the ones that have worked for me was the rainbow pattern and the other colors at different situations.

and some rapala lures but i havent got a grasp on what colors the trout and striper like most..... any suggestions you guys?

ive heard white, black, rainbow pattern, other shad patterns work but me and probably some others are looking for details... Any Suggestions?
