Default 9/23/14 Tellico Crappie

Launch at clear creek and found crappie loaded on a brush pile in about 14' of water. Caught about 25 with one keeper in the bunch. Left the fish bighting they were loaded on the brush. I have had this happen to me alot fishing both loudon and tellico. Does anyone ever catch a limit on these lakes?

Have had the same results on Tellico for years. Seems to be a lot better in the spring, as far as keepers. Clear Creek and Fork Creek always seem to have lots of small crappie.

I have found that if you can get your bait to the bottom of the school you can find a few bigger fish. If you want a good mess of crappie I suggest that you go to Douglas.
