Been having a tough couple of days fishing. Water temp is 45 - 47, but little wind, and post front conditions. no fish the first day. One fish the second day, a Drum(10 lbs._ but at least a fish. Pulled up on the first spot this afternoon, 9 or 10 casts, fish on. A good way to start the day. I love it when a 20 inch small jaw comes to the boat. Caught a few more short largemouth. Nothing of any size.

carl, i've been having a tough time lately, too. i'm finding fish, but there is almost too much bait around. i know the saying "find the bait, find the fish", but i'm offering 1 lure amongst a thousand or more real ones. are you leaving the bait schools & fishing bluffs? i've blanked several times & it's starting to get to me.

Not fishing the bluffs, but working offshore on ledges and brakes. I had been catching fish on clay structures but that changed Saturday.
