Default Nice catch between storms

My son and I went to Calderwood on Thursday and he caught these 2 nice bows between the storms. The big one came off a 1/8 oz brown and black rooster tail and the other off a night crawler at the dock while waiting out the rain. We caught several more small trout and a perch but, didn't keep them. They had 2 flood gates open and were generating so the water was ROLLING all the way down the lake. We watched a mother otter and her 2 young hunting and the mom caught a huge crawdad and crawled out on a rock and went to crunching on it. The young didn't like not getting a bite and started to "bark" at their mom. She made them keep hunting until they each had caught a crawdad. It was pretty cool to watch and it only took them a few minutes for each to find a crawdad.
