My wife and I waded Newport this morning for a couple of hours. The water was a little high so we weren't able to get to some of the better holes. Fishing was pretty steady untill it started rising about 10:30... Here are a few pictures.

Yeah, it seems like they are running the water almost constantly. I want to fish it more but hate to drive all the way up there just to find out the river is too full. I've tried calling the 1-800 number but it hasn't been updated since Sep 2010. Maybe soon the water flow will be more predictable and I can cure my river fix!

Thanks for the info Guys... We had planned a trip Sunday but doesn't look like it will happen. Guess it is to Douglas we go.
