Anyone ever eat a drum? They definately bony but i caught a 10lber and took it home made fish nuggets out of it and well I like it better than catfish was about 50 1" nuggets and omg nowhere near enough for me and the kids just a snack..........Havnt tried the gar yet but wanting too.

I hear drum is delicious. We caught one 2 days ago and brought it home. Going to have a big fish fry today (mostly catfish) and give it a go.

I've eaten drum many times....it's meat is denser than most freshwater fish....not bad though....
