I've always heard march is the best time to catch them, ive had friends hook them on jerkbaits, rebel crawfish, tubes, worms, and spinnerbaits down theren on the chucky.

There are a few guys that specifically target Muskies on the chucky but I personally have never talked to them. I would also like to try my luck at Muskies on the chucky. I have heard that this river has some extremely rough places to navigate in a jet boat? I have seen pictures of some big Muskies out of there.

My papaw hooked a six foot musky on nolichucky on a 4" green pumpkin yum dinger. Thought we had a huge largemouth because he was coming to the boat but when he seen the boat he jumped and that was the end of it!

Yep...I hooked one on a tiny torpedo top water while smallmouth fishing! It was awesome...only had it hooked for a few seconds...but wow what a strike.
