I will be the first to say that musky fishing is a blast. Of course it takes alot more time and effort to actually land one of these beasts but with alittle effort and some beefed up gear, any of you fellas could get into musky fishing. East and Central Tennessee offers some pretty good musky fishing waters including my favorite lake, Melton Hill. Muskies were native to all of the warmwater rivers and streams in east TN, so TWRA has began to reintroduce them into a few select bodies of water. I can go on for days about muskies, but if anybody has any questions, I will certainly try and help steer you in the right direction. I run my own musky fishing website but I would like to help out anybody on this board that might be interested in learning to target muskies. And before anybody asks, I catch the majority of my muskies in areas highly concentrated with gizzard shad if you're concerned about what they eat. I will also be hosting several catch and release musky tournaments throughout the year if you guys ever want to challenge my team.

Billy

Thanks again for the offer Billy. I enjoy reading about and looking at pictures of Musky. I'm sure landing one would be a blast too!

These fish aren't impossible to catch, it just takes alot of patience and know how. I have a few good patterns and they are temperature driven. This time of the year, the fish will sit in fallen trees and brush piles. I will be all over the lake soon chasing muskies and if you see me say hi. Here is a recent 48" Melton Hill musky.

Nice fish Billy! I fish them in Ohio and NY on Chautauqua. I hope to make it down to your waters in the near future.
