best way to check crappie size, the e z you get is just a little short, do the twra acepted this this >?????

I checked my Frabill e-z checker with a ruler. IF the crappie has its mouth closed AND the tail pinched to its max (per TWRA) the plastic checker is right on the money. It is pretty hard to cheat it & most crappie fishermen have the same one as mine. It is always good to check a fish with a ruler to be sure. Beats the 178 buck fine for a short fish. dada 3-22-13 7:20 PM
