Hey yall just a thought...Has anyone ever trolled an Alabama rig for suspended trout? It seems like it might work, with smaller baits on the spreaders, of course. Thinking about running one behind a Pink Lady right on the thermocline. Any thoughts?

If they are feeding on minnows it just might work. I would use smaller baits too.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe put some needlefish spoons or something similar, or maybe soft plastics.

How about willow leaf blades on 4 arms and a spoon on a 12" dropper.

i thought i was the only one thinking about that...lol. got to be careful about the hook sizes but you don't need real big for trout.
