Fishing below Douglas Dam - East Tennessee Fishing

Fished with rdisney on the river.Fishing was slow for us below the dam,so we went down the river and cought this smallie off a rip rap bank.

if you don't mind telling us, what did you catch it on? I've never had any luck fishing the lower FB in cold weather.

me neither larry, i recall one cold day when they were generating heavy enough to run a prop boat up the whole river. My buddy was at the tiller and the sun was pretty bright so i kept dozing off while he was driving up river. I guess he got jealous so he pulled over to the side, tied the boat to a tree and went to sleep. We fished prettry hard for a few hours and knew we probably weren't gonna get anything, water temp was 39, so an afternoon nap didn't seem like such a bad idea
