has anyone been up there lately thought about taking the bass tracker up there sat since the motor is down a cyl. I figure I can troll all the way around and post some pics when i get back... Also can I lower the motor or does it have to stay up out of the water?

I haven't been up there in a long time, so I can't help you on what they are hitting. I have seen bass boats in there with their motors down though, I think as long as you don't fire it up you will be fine.

From the boat ramp to the dam is about 3/4 of a mile. Not sure how deep it is at the dam, never been there with a depth finder. I have kayak fished up there in the past, but its been a few years. I could never find many bass up there, but did catch one nice one that was about 5 lbs. I have seen some pictures of some good fish coming out of there. You may want to give it a shot since your motor is down anyway.
