Went to Douglas today & started at Muddy Creek. It was cloudy, not muddy & the water was 60 . Much higher than last week with SOME debris floating. I trolled Bandits & got 3 good crappie & 10 DRUM! Then went to McGuire creek & got 2 more , only one on fly & minnow, plus 1 3# smallmouth on the Bandit. All crappie were good size (12 inches +) and STILL FULL OF EGGS. I think this week will see the spawning session begin for certain, even tho some men were catching them at 4' against the bank with floats & fly/minnow combinations. Water temp was 66 when I left . Fish stopped biting at 3 PM.. McGuire was clearer than Muddy Creek. I'll be back tomorrow for some more crappie!!!! dada 4-13-11 8:25 PM

300'S WERE getting them on the 13th, but on the 14th, we got them on a 200. We also got black crappie against the bank in 4' with plain minnow ,but mostly small. dada 4-15-11 7PM
